The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Institute is a partnership program of Century College and Metropolitan State University. The institute, begun in fall 2003, provides students whose primary language is other than English a range of courses, workshops and support services designed to help each student master the skills of college level American English. Instruction is given in the skill areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking American English. Century College and Metropolitan State University cooperatively offer full-time day ESOL classes at the Metropolitan State University St. Paul Campus
