Pitfalls to avoid
There may be an unknown or forgotten fine on your record, such as a parking or library fees.
This will hold up your graduation if payment is not taken care of.
Visit the Business Office, or login to e-Services website to check your account for holds online.
If you have received a grade of incomplete or anticipate one for the current semester,
be sure to get it changed as soon as possible. If it is a required course for your degree
it will hold up your graduation. Don't assume that your instructor has changed the grade,
check your transcript online by logging in to the e-Services website.
If you have repeated the same course one or more times, be sure to fill out a
Repeat Course Form (pdf), also available on the Records Forms page.
This is the only way the old grades will come out of your GPA (although they will still be listed on your transcript).
If an internship is necessary for your program, all work must be completed and grades submitted before your graduation is complete.
If you are a spring graduate and you choose to walk in the May ceremony, do not assume that you have actually graduated just because you attended. Spring grades will not be posted and the graduation evaluation will not be final at that time.
