Assessment Testing for Transfer Students
To ensure academic success at Century College, you are required to take assessment tests. The College Board placement test, Accuplacer, assesses skill levels in English composition, mathematics and reading. Test results determine appropriate course placement and ensure completion of course prerequisites.
All transfer students, including students who have earned a degree at another college or institution, must meet Century's assessment testing requirements and/or course prerequisites prior to orientation (SOAR) or registration. To determine if you have completed transfer coursework that would waive you from completing all or part of the assessment tests, you must provide official transcripts from other colleges and universities.
