Tech Prep

High school students may earn college credits while still in high school. After taking designated technical courses through Northeast Metro Career and Technical Center or district consortium high schools, Tech Prep students can receive credit when they enroll at Century College.

By earning college credit while in high school, you make a smooth transition between high school and college by not duplicating coursework and saving time, tuition and textbook money.

A partnership between Century College and Northeast Metro Career and Technical Center provides students the opportunity to participate in programs of study that prepare them to advance into the postsecondary educational system and employment. Tech Prep links four years of high school with at least two years of postsecondary education, which may lead to an associate degree or technical occupation certification.
