Program description
You can make a difference in your community by helping someone who has a chemical dependency problem. The Chemical Dependency Program at Century College will prepare you for work as a chemical dependency counselor.
The program is designed to meet state guidelines and prepare you for the written and oral examinations required by law. Students completing the A.S. degree may transfer to a four-year college or university. As of July 1, 2008, a bachelor's degree is required to become a licensed alcohol and drug counselor.
Awards
Individuals who have received a Bachelor Degree may receive a certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling.
