Computer science is the study of all aspects of computer systems; from theoretical foundations to practical applications.

The Century College Computer Science program focuses on providing a solid and rigorous foundation to help you build the knowledge and skills to successfully continue your education.

We work closely with related academic programs in science, mathematics, engineering, information technology, and visual communications to help guide you down the educational path that fits your interests and goals — now and in the future.

Occupational trends

Employment in computer science-related fields typically requires a four-year degree or better, depending on what other experience an individual brings to the job. The opportunities for those who are sufficiently qualified are great and are expected to continue to grow – but don't take our word for it.
