Information on FAFSA

The most common approach for help to finance your education is through a Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA.  It is the application used to apply for federal and state grants, loans, and work-study.  The application may not seem all that easy and most likely long, but there are many free tools online and offline that can help guide you through the process. 

The two versions of the application to complete are on paper and online.  Paper applications are usually distributed to high schools and colleges.  FAFSA on the web is the easiest way to complete the application as you are able to complete, submit, and track the process of your application.  You will usually save yourself about 1-2 weeks by completing the FAFSA online compared to a paper application.
